Job Description:
• This is a Java Full Stack developer role
• USC only, 100% remote, contract only; if the resource lives within 50 miles of Harrisburg PA, the resource may be asked to come into the office 2-3 times a month or so
• 5 years of Java professional experience in front end and back end development.
• Must have strong SQL skills to be successful in this project • Excellent communication skills, must be able to work as part of team and work independently but know when to ask questions.
• Current team size is 15, must be able to collaborate.
• TEAMS video calls are required for this assignment, will be on video frequently.
• Previous experience working in an Agile environment preferred
• Angular preferred
• Enhancements and projects. Currently a 50/50 split between the two.
• Will be creating new code development
• Must be willing to work front and back end development as needed depending upon the workload.
• Also has Pega and informatica in this footprint but these skills are not required
Responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for new and existing business application software, and production support for systems with medium complexity. Qualifications include good organizational skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, good time management skills, ability to work independently, and effectively communicate with customers.
The incumbent must be capable of working at a broad technical level in all phases of the application systems project life-cycle, and must be able to apply business knowledge and technical skills to systems development. Position typically requires 2-5 years of programming and related experience as outlined above.
