Duties: 5 days onsite in Salt Lake City, UT or Dallas, TX (fully onsite)
No relocation –
Multiple openings – Goldman Sachs has said they have to hire N number of candidates till Jan 2025 so keep them coming, The whole process is – I send the candidate to vendor, after speaking with them – vendor will do a 15 Java test (MCQ based) with them on video call – scores must be around 80%. They cannot open multiple screens or look here/ there or cheat somehow, as vendor will get notification, they record the whole video and will get to know about cheating. Then after submitting to client, if interview is requested – Goldman will give candidate 2 different coding problems during the video interview on Coder pad.
To avoid this whole hiring process – If you have candidates with Genuine Goldman Sachs project within past 5 years (candidate should not be currently working there), then hiring manager will check there past feedback and eligibility for re-hiring of that candidate and will skip the whole interview process (no coding), will do one call with candidate for 30 mins and will hire them. Please provide proper managerial reference of past Goldman project – along with LinkedIn of manager.
Vendor’s first preference is to find candidates with past exp of Goldman.
- Java Script Resources: Medium amount of profiles request
- Strong programming skills in Java with proficiency in object-oriented design principles
- Strong Experience with web development frameworks (Angular or React)
- Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Drop Wizard, Spring and Hibernate
- Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines especially using Git
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux experience
