Job Title: IT Security Analyst (CRISC / CISSP / CISM)
Location: Latham, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Tax Terms: C2C
Work Authorization: USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4
Client: HBITS NYS OMH (New York State – Office of Mental Health)
Tier: Working with Prime Vendor
Experience: 6-15 years

Core Responsibilities:

• Guide and assist in compliance with NYS information security policies and best practices
• Conduct cyber security reviews and risk assessments of systems
• Provide recommendations to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities
• Support application scanning and work with stakeholders to remediate vulnerabilities
• Assist with Information Classification and support security incident escalations

Key Skills:

• CRISC, CISSP, and CISM certifications (Active required)
• Healthcare Information Security/Risk Management experience (36+ months)
• IT Risk Assessments in a corporate/enterprise environment (20+ locations, 10,000+ employees)
• NIST 800-53 Controls and audit response support
• Web Application Scanning and vulnerability remediation
• Infrastructure Scanning and vulnerability mitigation
• Information Classification collaboration with Business Units
• NYS ITS Information Security Policy (NYS-P03-002) familiarity
