Job Description:
Position Overview: The Systems Analyst IV will play a critical role in analyzing, documenting, and refining business processes to enhance software systems and products. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop and manage user stories, facilitating agile processes, and providing technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of business processes supported by software systems/products.
- Document business requirements, business processes, and create training programs, documentation, and materials.
- Analyze and document current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) scenarios, including processes, models, use cases, plans, and solutions.
- Lead and manage requirements reviews, design reviews, and change control activities.
- Define and implement standards, methods, and procedures for requirements activities.
- Participate as a Scrum Team member in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, task estimation, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist management in the recruitment of system analyst positions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a small team.
Required Technical Experience:
- 12+ years of demonstrated experience with increasingly complex system analysis projects.
- 4-6 years of experience developing and defining user stories based on business and system requirements, including validation and acceptance criteria.
- 10+ years of experience with various requirements gathering techniques and methodologies, including UML/Use cases, Activity diagrams, and JAD sessions.
- 4-6 years of experience with Scrum and/or other Agile Development frameworks.
Desired Technical Experience:
- Experience with automated requirements engineering and testing tools.
- RDBMS experience (MS SQL Server and/or Oracle) with the ability to write SQL queries.
- Experience with Project Management Software.
- Experience with Software Development.
