Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IBM FileNet Administrator to manage, maintain, and support hardware and software configurations within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IBM FileNet P8 systems, including Process Engine, Content Engine, and Application Engine. This role involves diagnosing and resolving software issues, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with IT staff on application design and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support IBM FileNet P8 Process Engine, Content Engine, and Application Engine in a 5.x, 5.2 environment.
- Design, implement, and support IBM FileNet ECM systems in an enterprise setting.
- Install, configure, and maintain FileNet P8 systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Diagnose, isolate, and resolve software issues, including managing vendor trouble tickets when necessary.
- Monitor ECM system performance, take corrective actions, and optimize the usage of system resources.
- Collaborate with IT staff on the design, implementation, and maintenance of FileNet systems.
- Ensure the capacity and availability of the FileNet WAS environment.
Other Required Skills
- Proficiency in WebSphere Application Server (WAS) versions 6.x, 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and working knowledge of OS environments such as AIX, Linux, and Windows.
- Experience in a customer-facing environment with strong communication skills.
- FileNet Certification (FCP) preferred.
- Knowledge of all FileNet installations, configurations, and integrations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
