Job Description: • A skilled and experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. • The ideal candidate will have a broad set of technology skills and the ability to design the right solutions using a combination of Google Cloud and third-party technologies for deployment on Google Cloud.
Responsibilities: • Design and implement data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, and Data Catalog. • Develop software code in languages such as Python, Unix Shell, and SQL. • Design and deploy large-scale applications in the cloud. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of data solutions. • Stay updated with the latest GCP technologies and best practices.
Requirements: • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with GCP cloud data implementation projects. • Minimum 2 years of experience in developing software code in Python, Unix Shell, and SQL. • Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and deploying large-scale applications in the cloud. • Google Cloud Platform certification such as Cloud Data Engineer, Associate, or Architect is highly preferable. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with other cloud platforms and technologies. • Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
