About the Role: • We are seeking a highly skilled Kafka Apigee Architect to join our dynamic team. • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Kafka and Apigee solutions. • This role requires a deep understanding of event-driven architecture, API management, and integration strategies.
Responsibilities: • Architect and Design: Develop and maintain scalable Kafka and Apigee architectures to support business requirements. • Implementation: Lead the implementation of Kafka clusters and Apigee API gateways, ensuring high availability and performance. • Integration: Design and implement integration solutions using Kafka and Apigee, enabling seamless data flow across systems. • Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize Kafka and Apigee environments for performance, reliability, and scalability. • Security: Implement security best practices for Kafka and Apigee, including authentication, authorization, and encryption. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Kafka and Apigee architectures, configurations, and processes. Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for Kafka and Apigee-related issues.
Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Kafka and Apigee architecture and implementation. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apache Kafka, including Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect. • Strong knowledge of Apigee API management platform. • Experience with event-driven architecture and microservices. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other integration protocols. • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications: • Certifications: Kafka and Apigee certifications are a plus. Experience: Prior experience in a similar role within a large enterprise environment.
