Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ADMS/SCADA Testing Specialist with extensive experience in the utility domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ADMS applications testing, GIS data mapping, SCADA Point to Point data mapping, and power flow applications. This role involves testing SAP PM and SAP WM functionalities, including creating work orders, operations, measurement documents, and setting order status in SAP PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an ADMS Consultant for GIS data mapping, SCADA Point to Point data mapping, linking status points, analog points, and power flow applications.
- Conduct testing of SAP PM and SAP WM Work Manager, including creating work orders, operations, measurement documents, material confirmations, and setting order status in SAP PM.
- Create linear asset data for assets and work, and PRT in SAP WM iPad.
- Utilize strong knowledge of all phases of SDLC and extensive experience in testing methodologies.
- Use Quality Center QCALM, Jira, and Microsoft Teams extensively for testing and project management.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 4+ years of experience with ADMS-OMS, DMS, and SCADA applications.
- 6+ years of experience in test processes and methodologies.
- Strong client communication skills.
- Expertise in ADMS applications testing with a functional knowledge of ADMS OMS/DMS applications.
- Extensive experience in functional testing processes.
Must Have Skills:
- OSI ADMS/SCADA experience with a focus on ADMS applications testing.
- Strong functional knowledge of ADMS OMS/DMS applications.
- Extensive experience with functional testing processes.
Additional Details:
- Experience with electric and gas utility clients, including GIS, SCADA, ADMS, DMS, EMS, OMS, GIS, SAP-PM, ClickSchedule, Ventyx VSS, CGI AM, and WM.
- Strong knowledge in the utility domain and ADMS applications (DMS, EMS, OMS, SCADA), SAP PM, ClickSchedule, CGI AM & WM, Ventyx VSS.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, HP-ALM, TFS.
- Experience with ADMS systems like OSII and i/Dispatcher.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies including Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall.
Work Summary:
- DMS/DERMS Testing: SCADA data to DERMS, voltage violations on devices, DPF, FLISR/VVC performing as use cases.
- SCADA Testing: SCADA data mapping/linking, validation of status points, alarm configuration, single line diagrams, alarms, tagging, trending, and validation as configurations.
- OMS Testing: Create calls, create jobs, hazards, switching (SOM), create outages/hazards on map, outage prediction trouble call management, crews dispatch, and outage notifications.
- GIS (eMap) Testing: Validate data-field-mappings, connect the data in the GIS to where it is used in OMS/EMS/ADMS, verify all substations and circuits in eMap, and verify connectivity of substations.
- FAT/SAT/SIT: Validate ADMS product configuration, business rules, UI navigation, interface testing with external systems, and system & integration testing.
- Field Device Testing: Validation using RTUs and communication protocols like ICCP, substation & feeder lines.
- Integrated Systems: Enable rapid FLISR, Volt/Var Control (VVC), Distribution Power Flow (DPF), and Outage Management Systems.
