Job Title: Azure SQL DBA Architect (Must Need HyperScale Tier Exp)
Job Mode : Remote
Duration : Long Term Contract
Responsibilities:
Design and architect scalable, high-performance Azure SQL Database solutions to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and implement database architecture, including schema design, indexing strategies, and data partitioning.
Ensure database solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
Lead the development and implementation of data integration and ETL processes.
Provide guidance and best practices for database development, deployment, and maintenance.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to database design standards and best practices.
Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
Stay current with the latest Azure SQL Database features and industry trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database solutions with other systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 12+ years of experience in database architecture and design.
Extensive experience with Azure SQL Database and related Azure services.
Extensive experience with Azure DB HyperScale tier specialties
Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, optimization, and security best practices.
Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and database development tools.
Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Familiarity with cloud architecture and microservices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
