Job Description:
- Proficiency in managing Identity Management, SiteMinder and Federation Manager: implementing and maintaining security technology solutions supporting identity management, SiteMinder, and Federation Manager for internal and external users. The third-party product is CA LDAP (Computer Associates).
- CA Siteminder, CA Identity Manager and federation Manager, provisioning server, Sun LDAP, Unix, Apache and Jboss application server administration and migration experience.
- System maintenance, configuration of system parameters, performance tuning, system health monitoring and checks, knowledge of support packs deployment, Release notes etc. Experience in configuration of Identity Management, SiteMinder and Federation Manager.
- Knowledge on upgrade and Migration techniques – must have done system upgrades including technical and functional upgrades. Knowledge on different upgrade paths, migration options. Handling/treatment of modified and custom objects during the upgrade. Successfully drive migration project through the various stages of the project delivery lifecycle.
- Skills in managing system and database backups, restoration/recovery process. Knowledge on MaxDB Database Management, backup process and coordinate backup activities, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Ensure stability and security of the system during and after upgrade/migration, applying security patches, managing user access etc. Manage complete Application Migration Activities, validate successful functioning of servers, application, Database, and entire system landscape for Identity Management, SiteMinder and Federation Manager. Continuous monitoring of System alerts, OS/DB and system logs and take appropriate actions as needed.
- Coordination with development team and provide guidance for testing.
- Post go-live (migration/upgrade) support – System monitoring, and incident resolution as needed in the post transition to VMC2.
- Ability to support application developers’ integration with directory environment.

- Lead the migration, consolidation, and decommissioning of the acquired company’s Active Directory (AD) infrastructure into the parent company’s AD environment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Design and implement AD migration strategies, including domain consolidation, trust establishment, and Group Policy management, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility with existing IT systems.
- Conduct a thorough assessment of the acquired company’s AD infrastructure, identifying potential risks, security vulnerabilities, and opportunities for optimization during the integration process.
