  • Digital platform technologies – use of data exchange is where web services, micro services and API’s come in
  • This is not just for a Java Developer, this person will work across multiple disciplines.  This is a hands on with the keyboard

 

Can you draw architecture across multiple discipline?

Must lead in the solution development

Someone can code is the differentiator for this role  – and be a combo of Java, ETL tools/ capabilities, Python etc.  not just one skills but more than one

Understand data structures connectively and understand services layers

User experience capabilities

The solution stack for modern enterprise

 

Notes from yesterday:

  • Someone who is hands on – this is not a theoretical role.  They need to solve problems and troubleshoot.
  • Primarily will be working with java stack, micro services, API’s, IVM series legacy system is a plus. 
  • Mostly services and integrations –  WSO 2 gateway is what the Api’s go thru
  • Pilot fish is their ETL – they do not have to have this  
  • They are not coding in Java – more trouble shooting and designing integrations between technologies  
  • Someone who has started in code and moved to SA
