Senior Software Developer – Automated Trading Team
Client is hiring a Senior Software Developer for our client’s Technology Automated Trading Team. This role is ideal for a skilled developer with a passion for building high-performance, cloud-native applications in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement microservices architecture and cloud-native solutions.
- Develop scalable, high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Optimize system performance while working with Oracle & PostgreSQL databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation.
- Ensure best practices in security, performance, and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java.
- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable Java code with solid knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Oracle Database, and WebLogic (WL).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab.
- Experience working with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Bonus: Experience with the FIX protocol.
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
