Job Description
The selected contractor(s) will be required to come in person to the LBJ Building to obtain CPA equipment, badge, and initial assignments. CPA will not pay or reimburse travel expenses.
The Candidate duties include the following:
· Coordinate and facilitate business stakeholder meetings to discover, analyse, inventory, document legacy reports including, but not limited, to SAS routines.
· Collect and document requirements in organized manner
· Assist in the evaluation of technical solutions and make recommendations based on sound reasoning.
· Follow software development processes, prepare detailed technical documentation, and generate work estimates in an SDLC environment.
· Work both independently and as part of project team interacting with product owners, internal/external stakeholders, applications, and other Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse staff to discover, analyse, inventory, document and assist in implementing solution.
· Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to existing development staff.
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:(must have)
5 Years Required Expertise in requirement gathering, customer engagement, customer communication and project management
5 Years Required Experience with data warehousing design/development
5 Years Required Experience developing detailed technical documentation
5 Years Required Experience documenting solutions and accurately conveying to technical SMEs
5 Years Required Experience with SAS (Statistical Analytical System) programming
4 Years Required Experience with data warehouse architecture standards, process, and methodology, with good knowledge of data integration, data quality, multi-dimensional design and ETL tools
4 Years Required Identify, create, and participate in the implementation of business process improvements and systems that deliver tangible value
4 Years Required Experience with Agile development experience with Scrum, Kanban
4 Years Required Experience understanding complex issues and facilitating resolution
4 Years Required Experience with highly complex application security requirements
Preferred (Optional)
4 Years Preferred Experience with Oracle (18+) data warehousing development
4 Years Preferred Experience with Oracle database programming (SQL, TSQL, PL/SQL, BTEQ)
2 Years Preferred Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)
2 Years Preferred Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, TEAMS, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
