Job Title: WiFi Tester/ WiFi Engineer
Location: Denver, CO/ Philadelphia PA – Onsite

Duration : Long term

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end testing of WiFi networks, access points, and routers.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for WiFi testing.
• Conduct performance, security, functional, and interoperability testing for WiFi networks.
• Analyze and troubleshoot WiFi connectivity, signal strength, interference, and throughput issues.
• Validate IEEE 802.11 standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), WPA/WPA2/WPA3 security protocols.
• Work with networking tools (Wireshark, TCPDump, iPerf, Ekahau, AirMagnet, etc.) to analyze packet flows and debug network issues.
• Collaborate with development, network engineering, and product teams to identify defects and improve performance.
• Perform OTA (Over-the-Air) testing, RF analysis, and signal optimization.
• Generate detailed reports on test results and suggest necessary improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols for wireless communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in WiFi testing, telecom, and networking.
• Proficiency in WiFi testing tools (Wireshark, iPerf, AirMagnet, Ekahau, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, QoS, and other networking protocols.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting (Python, Shell, etc.).
• Understanding of wireless security, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based WiFi solutions and SD-WAN is a plus.
• Experience in network troubleshooting and debugging.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• WiFi certifications such as CWNA, CWSP, CCNA Wireless, or equivalent.
• Experience in 5G, LTE, and VoWiFi testing.
• Knowledge of IoT and smart home device connectivity testing.
