Job Title: Sr Power Platform Developer
Location: Virginia
Duration: 12 Months
Description:
Work Arrangement: Onsite 2-3 days/week or as needed; initial interview via webcam, possible in-person follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure Dataverse and Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven)
Develop and manage business process automation.
Lead workshops for functionality discovery and requirements gathering.
Develop solutions using .NET, SQL, Azure, and C#
Integrate APIs and REST services with multiple data sources.
Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices.
Troubleshoot and document Power Platform issues.
Create and document design solutions for common use cases.
Develop mockups/prototypes and ensure solutions meet business needs!
Use DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)
Prepare technical documentation (requirements, recommendations, etc.)
Adhere to best practices and define governance for the platform at VDOT.
Participate in Agile SDLC
Requirements:
PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer certifications
Experience with Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automation
Strong programming skills in .NET, SQL, Azure, and C#
Experience with API/REST service integrations.
Preferred experience with Power Platform DevOps tools
Ability to prepare and deliver clear documentation and design solutions.
Skills:
Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience
IT experience as a Senior Developer /Technical Lead (Required-8-Years)
Experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 services (Required-5-Years)
Experience in designing, implementing, and migrating solutions utilizing Power Platform, including all : Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate (Flow)(Required-3-Years)
Experience using PowerShell scripting-(Required-4-Years)
Custom Development experience using .Net, JavaScript and C#- (Required-5-Years)
Experience using standard & premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate (Required-3-Years)
Experience with MS Access and VBA to understand and redesign Power Apps (Required-3-Years)
Developing Azure logic apps and functions providing support for Power Automate-(Required-3-Years)
Devops in Power Platform-(Desired-2-Years
