Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SQL Database Developer with expertise in Perl and Shell scripting to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient data flow and batch processes in applications, with a strong emphasis on T-SQL programming, Perl, and Shell scripting.
Requirements:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and reliable technical solutions for data flow and batch processing.
Design, develop, and maintain T-SQL code for efficient data manipulation, querying, and stored procedures in transactional databases such as Sybase and MSSQL.
Implement batch processing solutions using Perl and Shell scripting to automate system administration tasks, data processing, and file operations.
Conduct requirement analysis and strategic analysis to drive the design, development, testing, and implementation of batch processes and ETL workflows.
Optimize T-SQL code for performance, query optimization, and efficient batch or ETL creation experiences.
Ensure strong understanding of ETL processes using T-SQL and Perl/Shell scripting, and provide expertise in extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
Requirements:
Proven experience in T-SQL programming, Perl, and Shell scripting, with a strong emphasis on batch processing and ETL workflows.
Proficiency in designing and implementing efficient ETL processes using T-SQL, Perl, and Shell scripting.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong understanding of database management systems and SQL optimization techniques.
Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) is required.
Experience with Perl scripting is a strong plus.
Knowledge of database security and data protection.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
