Location: Atlanta, GA – Onsite – Only locals required – High priority

Job Description
This position is for a hands-on SRE lead, focused on providing resilient, secure, scalable and supportable services for heterogenous set of application across on-premise and cloud catering to stores systems. You will contribute to the strategy and delivery of the team, as well as managing the day-to-day workload. This role requires building a close relationship with our development teams, operations, engineering, database and product organizations.

You will be involved in the design of resilient systems, the definition and monitoring of SLI/SLO’s/BLA’s creating pro-active actionable alerts, and also drive production incidents. We operate in a hybrid cloud environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide thought-leadership; set the technical direction for the SRE and overall development Team
  2. Define and manage projects to meet Team objectives.
  3. Set individual goals and manage personal growth of team members.
  4. Oversee and guide development to implement SRE strategies for diverse set of SaaS Applications and internal services.
  5. Serve as the face of a team responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of our business applications
  6. Develop sustainable SRE practices around simplification and standardization
  7. Drive of the cultural standard for SRE including defining ways of working, runbooks and accountability across people, processes, and technology.
  8. Partner with other SRE and development teams and lead by example.

 

Knowledge And Experience

  1. 10+ years of Application/Systems engineering in 24×7 Production Services environments
  2. BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or equivalent professional experience
  3. Experience in designing, deploying and operating SaaS applications and cloud infrastructure (GCP or equivalent & On-Premise virtualized environments)
  4. Excellent troubleshooter spanning systems, networks and code , utilizing a systematic problem-solving approach
  5. Demonstrate the ability to lead diverse SRE and development teams.
  6. Fluency with one or more current generation scripting language used by SRE/DevOps professionals.
  7. Proficiency in monitoring and performance tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Google Analytics, ELK.
  8. Should have experience on google cloud to implement SRE strategies.
  9. Strong communication skills

Possible title: Product Manager, Project Manager, MDM Manager, MDM Architect

 

Job Description:

  • need a “doer”, in terms of PMO
  • Ability to understand and respond to technical pivots in project direction, high level understanding of integrations with other systems such as SAP, DAM etc.
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating the implementation of MDM (Master Data Management) projects
  • Deep experience working with MDM technical leads: quickly understanding technical concepts and formulating project plan
  • Track the work of MDM engineers/analysts, remove bottlenecks, and facilitate regular (monthly) deployments in production  
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in Master data projects beginning as engineer/analyst
  • Knowledge of MDM best practices
  • Product information Management (PIM) is a must
  • MDM experience in Retail domain ideal, but MDM in other verticals like Banking good too
  • Tools: Riversand, Informatica are plus but any industry-standard tool is good
