Job title : Senior Python Developer for GenAI-Based Application development

Location : Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)

Duration : Long term

Must have: RAG and Contract creation on 4+ years focused on GenAI/NLP applications.

Client is looking for a Lead Developer candidate who can lead a team as well as can work as an Independent Developer. Must have exp on Design Approach.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Python: Expert-level proficiency, with a strong understanding of data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and NLP frameworks (spaCy, NLTK, Transformers).
• Machine Learning/GenAI: Extensive experience with GenAI models, including but not limited to fine-tuning, LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation), and RAG. Experience with OpenAI API, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or similar GenAI tools is essential.
• NLP: Proven experience in text processing, clause extraction, metadata tagging, summarization, and entity recognition.

GenAI Experience:

• Hands-on experience developing and deploying large language models (LLMs) tailored for legal or contractual data.
• Proficient in quantification techniques like LoRA and optimizing GenAI models for deployment on small-scale infrastructure (CPU-focused).

Document Processing:

• Experience with PDF parsing, OCR, and document transformation tools (PyMuPDF, PDFMiner) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of legal document structures, contract law terms, and compliance requirements.

Backend and API Development:

• Familiarity with building REST APIs to integrate GenAI models within contract lifecycle workflows.
• Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL), especially in managing unstructured data and high-volume document processing.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of designing complex workflows and models for high-demand applications.
• Ability to work in agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams including legal experts, project managers, and other developers.

Bonus:

• Experience in contract lifecycle management systems or legal tech.
• Familiarity with document comparison software and redlining technologies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience Level: 15+ years in Python development with 4+ years focused on GenAI/NLP applications.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. – candidate must be from a computer background only
• Mindset: Passionate about building AI-powered legal tech solutions and enjoys working on complex, large-scale systems.
