Job Title – Oracle PL/SQL Lead

Location – 100 % Remote

Job Description:

•            BS in chemistry / computer science, experience with oracle PL/SQL, chemical registration applications.
•            Extensive experience with BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot in the development of data workflows, ideally in a scientific or research environment.
•            Experience with scripting and programming languages, including database, JavaScript for automating and customizing workflows.
•            Knowledge of databases, data integration techniques, and data management practices.
•            Familiar with scientific data formats (e.g., CSV, XML, JSON, SD files, etc.).
•            Prepare, review, and submit registration records for small and large molecules.
•            Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant requirements and guidelines associated with chemical registration.
•            Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure completeness of submission documents.
•            Evaluate the impact of regulatory changes on existing registrations and recommend necessary actions.
•            Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for chemical registration processes.
•            Monitor and track the status of submitted registrations and communicate updates to stakeholders.
•            Maintain and update internal databases and tracking systems for monitoring the status of submitted applications.
•            Participate in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to chemical registration and compliance.
•            Assist in Internal and External users on requirements, chemical & biological record registration processes.
•            Design, implement, and maintain complex workflows in BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot to integrate and analyze diverse datasets from various scientific disciplines (e.g., chemistry, biology, materials science).
•            Develop and maintain tools for data import/export, transformation, analysis, and visualization from internal and external data sources (e.g., lab instruments, databases, external APIs).
•            Automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual data handling, and optimize workflows for improved performance and efficiency.
•            Collaborate with scientists, business users, to understand their data needs and translate those into practical and efficient workflow.
•            Provide clear documentation for developed workflows and systems, ensuring that they can be easily maintained, updated, and used by other team members.
