Job Description: HM Description:
- This position will be responsible for modelling changes for the ICS Testing Enablement Management (ITEM). When not data modelling, they will coordinate all table changes made by ICS to ensure the ITEM team can support the changes in the test environments when the data is refreshed.
- When available the engineer will also pick up mainframe development stories in a MVS, mainframe, COBOL DB2 environment or using the other skills listed below.
- Engineer will need to be able to attend on site design session with development teams to build and design new tables.
- Expertise with RPG400, RPG III, COBOL, or SYNON in an AS/400 environment, or COBOL or C in one of a variety of mid-range platforms such DEC VAX or HP3000. AS/400 Programmer, VAX Programmer, Client Programmer. Performs all or part of full life cycle development process with an emphasis on developing business applications, supporting existing applications, modifying/enhancing them support current needs, and implementing the changes necessary as the needs of the business units change. Usually involves high-volume and large-scale batch or online processing
