Job Title: Lead Azure / Dot Net Developer
Job Location: Virginia
Duration: 12 Months
Position Overview:
Lead Azure Developer with extensive .NET experience to design, implement, and optimize data solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role involves planning cloud infrastructure, collaborating on cloud-native application designs, and migrating existing applications to the cloud while ensuring robust security measures are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop .NET solutions (including .NET Core, MVC.NET, ASP.NET, C#, Web Services) in both on-premises and cloud environments.
Utilize front-end technologies such as Angular or Blazor for application development.
Implement Azure-native applications, including Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Integration Services.
Develop microservices architecture and domain-driven architecture solutions.
Collaborate with architects and senior developers to define software architecture aligned with business needs.
Automate deployment and configuration management using tools such as Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and Terraform.
Monitor and optimize applications using Azure Monitoring and Application Insights.
Work within an Agile methodology framework.
Minimum Qualifications:
.NET Development: 10 years of experience with ASP.NET, MVC, C#, and Web API.
Front-End Technologies: 7 years of experience with Angular, Blazor, or similar frameworks.
Microservices & Azure Architecture: 7 years of experience with microservices, Azure architecture, and domain-driven design.
Cloud Services: 7 years of experience with Azure cloud services (AKS, Azure Functions, App Services, API Management).
Databases: 7 years of experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure cloud databases.
Monitoring: 5 years of experience with Azure Monitoring and Application Insights.
Configuration Management: 3 years of experience with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Terraform, Chef, and ARM Templates.
Agile Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hybrid Connectivity: Strong knowledge of hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premises systems using VPN and Express Route.
Scripting: Proficiency in Python scripting (2 years preferred).
Data Solutions: Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake (2 years preferred).
Reporting: Experience developing Power BI reports (2 years preferred).
Azure Certification: Azure Certified Developer (highly desired).
