Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team for a project with Cigna. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend technologies, particularly in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and cloud deployment using OpenShift and AWS. This role requires a deep understanding of backend architecture, API development, and data management. Must have: Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and AWS Roles and Responsibilities: • Application Development: o Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks. o Build and manage data-driven applications using MongoDB as the primary database. o Develop RESTful APIs to support front-end and other applications. • Cloud Deployment & Management: o Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS and OpenShift platforms. o Implement best practices for cloud security, performance, and scalability. o Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. • Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting: o Analyze and optimize application performance to ensure high reliability and responsiveness. o Identify and resolve issues related to backend code and deployment. o Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of code quality.
