Job Title : Product Owner – Cloud Security Team

Location : Atlanta, GA (Preferred) or Frisco, TX (No Hybrid or Remote)

Job Description:

We’re seeking an 8+ yrs experienced Product Owner to help lead the Cloud Security Team. We need someone who has an Cloud Security & DevOps experience mindset for distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs. Most important, we need a product manager who can help us build better products that people love to use.

Objectives of this role

·       Lead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project

·       Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals

·       Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI

·       Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management

Responsibilities

·       Design software and business processes, including process modeling and user story grooming, in industrial verticals including the heavy platforms Cloud foundry and Kubernetes.

·       Interpret business requirements and create capabilities in Jira Align, breaking them into features and functional/technical user stories in Jira.

·       Refine the functional and technical user stories with the offshore and onshore Devops including the review of the test cases with SDETs and Manual testing team.

·       Partner with multiple businesses enterprise-wide, MTS, and various stakeholders to define the current customer experience, identify areas of improvement, and use the inputs to create and drive product vision and Roadmap.

·       Design and develop integration scripts and procedures using Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools and integrate with backend services.

·       Define and resolve impediments in the Kubernetes platform impacting the customers, including the internal Gen 3 to Gen 4 migrations and the various component upgrades.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·       Good understanding of cloud computing principles, including virtualization, containerization, microservices, and serverless computing; Risk Management, RHCOS security, container security, Kubernetes security, IAM security, network security, auditing, encryption, secrets management and data protection, securing CI/CD

·       Experience with IAM Policy ‘as code’ ; OPA – Open Policy Agent (Styra Enterprise version of OPA); Cedar – Aws opensource policy agent

·       Ability to be a technically strong individual with an IT Security background who has demonstrated skill in managing product teams; solid understanding of how IT Security enhances Digital Transformation and identifies new ways of helping bring new business solutions to market while remaining secure

·       Experience with Public Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and GCP

·       Experience with Container Technologies like EKS, AKS, OpenShift, Kubernetes on On-premises

·       Familiar with automation tools and frameworks (Ansible, Terraform, Crossplane)

·       Familiar with coding and scripting languages (eg, Python, GO, Bash)

·       Designing and building the Customer Journey for application or Kubernetes platform team using Grafana Dashboards;

·       Converting high level business requirements into features/user stories using Agile tools, Jira, and Jira Align;

·       Collaborating with business teams/customer teams to identify the pain points in the customer journey, and work on providing resolutions by creating and driving the vision and roadmap using Roadmunk

·       Verifying and validating data in the Facility Pricing tool to assess customer risk, collateral, profitability, and fees through SQL Queries using Oracle SQL Developer tool.

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field, and 5 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field, and 7 years of relevant work experience.
