Job Description:

Title : POS Tester

Location: Boca Raton, FL (Onsite from day 1; need only local candidates)

Contract: 6 to 12 Months of Long-Term Contract

Skill:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on POS systems.
• Experience in working with various devices such as card readers, touch screens, cash registers, computers, self-service kiosks, POS terminals, receipt printers and barcode scanners
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Expertise in using Test and Defect management tools like JIRA and QTest.
• Expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies and process.
• Experience with test automation tools, preferably Selenium.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

1. To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client or team to understand functional or design specifications ,highlight performance concerns, inconsistencies ,ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place or kept up to date.
2. To Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies or tools and Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
3. To oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts ensuring consistency and alignment with quality standards to minimize exposure.
4. To developer guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework , enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
