– Comcast 154313-1, Data Engineer II – familiar with Databricks/ Unity Catalog.
– Part of the Wireless technology team that provides analytics for engineering and development teams.
– Majority of the day will be developing in Python and SQL in a Databricks environment.
– Coding in Python & SQL, with occasional use of Scala.
– Team utilizes JIRA for task management.
– Primarily works off the JIRA board and spends a significant part of the day developing code.
– Participates in a few meetings and attends a weekly Scrum.
Skills and Technologies:
– Apache Spark, Python (for automation), Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure), Databricks, Apache Spark, Python automation, Python, SQL, Scala, DevOps, Jenkins, AWS
