JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled Data Security and Access Control Specialist to manage and enhance our data protection measures. This role involves implementing data masking techniques, overseeing data access control solutions, leveraging Snowflake for data warehousing, and scripting for various data operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in safeguarding sensitive information, managing access rights, and ensuring data integrity through effective use of Snowflake and scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
o Design and implement data masking strategies to protect sensitive information.
o Apply data masking techniques to databases, applications, and reports.
o Develop and enforce data access control policies and procedures.
o Configure and manage user access levels, permissions, and roles within databases and applications.
o Perform regular audits to ensure proper access controls and compliance with security standards.
o Knowledge of Snowflake and SQL is much needed
o Write and maintain scripts for data processing, transformation, and integration.
o Utilize scripting languages such as Python, SQL, or Shell scripts to support data-related operations.
o Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve.
