Requirements: Key Responsibilities • Data Integration Support: • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Informatica workflows for data processing and integration within the VLM platform. • Ensure seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes between SQL, Oracle, and Teradata environments. • Database Management: • Perform SQL query optimization, data validation, and integrity checks to ensure accurate reporting and analytics. • Support Teradata database operations, including performance tuning and managing large datasets. • Incident and Issue Resolution: • Identify, analyze, and resolve production incidents and performance issues related to VLM. • Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues. • System Monitoring and Maintenance: • Proactively monitor system health, database performance, and ETL workflows to prevent disruptions. • Manage scheduled jobs and scripts for daily and periodic data processing tasks. • Collaboration and Communication: • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and address concerns. • Collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements and fixes. • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: • Maintain updated documentation for workflows, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps. • Share insights and resolutions with team members to enhance collective knowledge.
Key Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • 4+ years of experience in production support, including managing on-premises and cloud-based systems. • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Power Exchange (PWX) for ETL processes. • Proficiency in SQL, with expertise in Oracle and Teradata for troubleshooting, data manipulation, and query optimization. • Experience in data integration and managing data flows between databases, including data migration and transformation tasks. • In-depth understanding of database management systems such as Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server. • Proven ability to monitor and troubleshoot production environments, with a focus on maintaining database integrity and performance. • Familiarity with system monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or similar, for real-time monitoring of workflows, jobs, and system health. • Solid troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and implement solutions quickly. • Knowledge of incident management processes using tools like ServiceNow (SNOW) for ticketing, change management, and escalation procedures. • Ability to perform database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing, and partitioning strategies. • Proficiency in using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and process improvement. • Experience working with business teams to identify requirements, troubleshoot production issues, and provide efficient solutions.
