Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Databricks & Azure Data Factory (ADF) Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Databricks, ADF, SQL coding, PySpark, and Scala, ensuring efficient data processing and transformation in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage Azure Databricks workflows for data processing and analytics.
- Build and optimize Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines to automate data movement and transformation.
- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Implement PySpark and Scala solutions for scalable big data processing.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust data solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and security in Azure environments.
Must-Have Skills:
Azure Databricks – Hands-on experience with data engineering in Databricks.
Azure Data Factory (ADF) – Expertise in designing and managing ETL pipelines.
SQL Coding Expertise – Strong ability to write and optimize complex queries.
PySpark & Scala – Proficiency in distributed data processing and big data frameworks.
