Position: Project Manager with Oracle SCM background
Location: Watsonville, CA (Onsite – local candidate required)

Responsibilities include:
· Project Management: The primary activities will include planning, coordinating, scheduling and orchestrating business workstream deliverables based upon the priorities established by Program Leadership and the PMO. This position will have the following responsibilities:
o Coordinate with business leaders to complete deliverables in accordance with the program scope, schedule and budget.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any challenges related to program delivery.
o Clearly understand interdependencies between technology, operations & business needs
o Coordinate business resource availability for requirement gathering, coordinating business testing (System Integration Testing, Conference Room Pilots, User Acceptance Testing, etc.), coordinate user training in close collaboration with change management.
o Manage the collection of business use cases and test scripts.
o Develop and deploy the appropriate standard operating standards and procedures.
o Identify and appropriately escalate risks and issues with mitigation plans.
o Ensure business readiness for program go-live.
o Deal effectively with ambiguous problems and situations.
· Team Orchestration: Coordinate the activities of a team of dedicated resources in a matrix structure in the deployment of the company’s global systems across business units and functions (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Nursery, etc.).
Other details about the role:
- Domestic and international travel required up to 30%.
- Follow Company policies and practices while representing client in an ethical and business-like manner in all interactions with employees, governmental agencies, growers, customers, etc.
- Ensure the security of Client confidential and proprietary information and related materials.
- Represent Client’s in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers and the business community at large.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Agribusiness, Computer Science, Operations Management, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive professional operational / technical experience, including 5+ years of management experience.
- Recent hands-on program management experience with a global ERP system implementation with a large (> $2B) company; preferably with a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or advanced agricultural company. Preference would be for the candidate to have successfully led a large ($20M+) global ERP implementation project.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with mitigating operational risks and issues that arise from ERP system implementations.
- Excellent working knowledge of cloud-based systems (Oracle is preferred).
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of SaaS based solutions.
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills with Steering Committees, Directors, Project Sponsors, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in developing, interacting, and maintaining excellent relationships with internal customers and working with external strategic partners / vendors.
- Advanced project management skills.
- Proven experience influencing cross-functional partners to achieve strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, developing environment with excellent organizational skills and thorough attention to detail.
A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
