Power BI Developer
Location :: Tallahassee, Florida 32301.(Onsite) Local Candidate only

Our client is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer (minimum of 3-5 years) to join their team for a 6-month contract term. This may get extended if budget is approved. This is an onsite role at their offices in Tallahassee, Florida 32301.
Our client is NOT the State of Florida. We will share the client’s name if your consultant is selected for an interview by the client. This is not a bid, and we can submit multiple candidates.

Our client is focused on finding someone who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. They will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of Power BI reports and dashboards.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with data visualization best practices and techniques.
- Microsoft Power BI certification, preferred.

Responsibilitie
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and understand their reporting needs.
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into key business metrics and trends.
- Develop data models and establish data connections to various data sources, including databases, data warehouses, and APIs.
- Optimize and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and functionalities and evaluate their potential for enhancing existing solutions.
- Work closely with data engineers and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and consistency across reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Power BI reports and dashboards into existing applications or workflows, as needed.
