Job Title – AI Engineer
Location – Hartford, Connecticut
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support to customers, resolving issues related to GPT models like Chat GPT – Open AI, Copilot, Gamini and Bedrock
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems and identifying root causes.
- Escalate issues to L3 support or engineering teams when necessary, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to address customer feedback and improve product functionality.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of support processes, technical solutions, and best practices.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for L1 support staff.
- Monitor system performance and user reports to proactively identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 16/5 support coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a software or technology environment.
- Understanding of AI and natural language processing concepts.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing software and network issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with support ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GPT models like Chat GPT – Open AI, Copilot, Gamini and Bedrock or other AI-based conversational systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS).

Sr. JD Edwards Programmer/Analyst
This position provides strong process, design, and development to maintain J.D. Edwards World A7.3 ERP solution. This position guides architecture and application design decisions, leads development projects, and trains and mentors the development staff on the latest RPG versions and distributed computing technologies. This position is expected to be hands-on with production support and development of the iSeries-based system.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test iSeries RPG applications for J.D. Edwards World A7.3
- Maintenance programming
- 2nd-tier production with off hours support for iSeries and J.D. Edwards World A7.3 applications and service.
- Act as a software developer within the J.D. Edwards World A7.3 ERP system, development environment, development tools, methodologies and approaches.
- Lead and design project planning activities
- Train and mentor RPG application developers on programming standards, best practices, and development tools.
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience with JDE World software
- 5 years hands-on experience with full development lifecycle in an iSeries environment using all versions of RPG, CL, ILE, DB2 and SQL.

· Learning the system, copying configurations, validating functionality
· Able to write some documentation on the system like usage, tracking documents
· Knowledge/Understanding Active Directory authentication or integration is useful.
