Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow System Administrator specializing in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) functionalities. The ideal candidate will manage, configure, and optimize our ServiceNow platform, ensuring efficient service delivery and maintaining the integrity of the CMDB to support IT operations and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and configure the ServiceNow platform, with a primary focus on ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge).
• Manage and maintain the CMDB, ensuring accurate representation of systems, assets, and services.
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions to optimize workflows and improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify needs, provide recommendations, and develop solutions aligned with ITSM and CMDB best practices.
• Ensure data integrity within the CMDB, performing regular audits, and maintaining compliance with configuration management processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ServiceNow platform, particularly within ITSM and CMDB modules.
• Implement and maintain automated workflows for service requests, approvals, and fulfillment processes.
• Provide training, support, and documentation for ServiceNow users and stakeholders.
• Stay up to date on ServiceNow best practices, new releases, and relevant features to improve platform performance and capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working as a ServiceNow Administrator or Developer, with a focus on ITSM and CMDB.
• Strong understanding of ITIL practices, particularly related to Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow CMDB including discovery, relationship mapping, and data integration.
• Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, AngularJS), workflows, and catalog item configuration.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to manage incidents and issues effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM/CMDB).
• Experience with integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems and tools.
• Familiarity with automated discovery tools, asset management, and IT operations management (ITOM).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience in Agile environments.
