Role: QA Devops Automation Tester

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Automation Tester with a strong background in DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality assurance, automation, and continuous improvement, ensuring our software products are reliable, scalable, and of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Automation Testing
◦ Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
◦ Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
◦ Collaborate with developers to understand application functionalities and identify test scenarios.
• CI/CD Integration:
◦ Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
◦ Ensure automated tests are run as part of the build process and provide immediate feedback on code quality.
◦ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures and test environment setup.
• Collaboration and Communication:
◦ Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
◦ Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing input on test planning, estimation, and execution.
◦ Communicate test results, defects, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Continuous Improvement:
◦ Advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and tools.
◦ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in automation testing and DevOps practices.
◦ Mentor and guide junior QA testers in automation and CI/CD practices.
