Key Requirements:
- Sr. Business Analyst with POS/OTC and product sales experience.

- Use cases identified; need to determine how to best leverage clean, reliable POS data.
- Ability to analyze, document, and automate POS data processing.
- Familiarity with ERP (SAP or Oracle) but won’t need to be in the system.
- Understanding of master data (customer, product, etc.).
- Excellent documentation and process mapping skills.
- Experience working with global teams and interacting with executive leadership and managers.
- Ability to ask the right questions and facilitate requirements gathering sessions.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Point of Sale (POS), Over-the-Counter (OTC) transactions, and Product Sales Data to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, data management, and process optimization, with a deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and master data structures. This role focuses on analyzing sales data, enhancing operational efficiencies, and supporting business decision-making through well-documented processes and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize POS and OTC sales processes, ensuring efficient data flow and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements for POS, OTC, and product sales data initiatives.
- Work closely with ERP teams to ensure seamless data integration, though direct system operation is not required.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of master data related to customers, products, and pricing.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify sales trends, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop detailed documentation, process maps, and workflows to support business operations and technology teams.
- Support the implementation of new POS functionalities, sales programs, and pricing models.
- Assist in data validation and quality control efforts to maintain integrity across systems.
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for system enhancements related to sales data and POS transactions.
- Act as a bridge between business users and IT, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in retail, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industries.
- Strong expertise in POS and OTC sales processes, with a focus on data management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)—no direct system operation required but must understand integration points.
- In-depth knowledge of master data management (customer, product, pricing, etc.).
- Excellent process mapping, workflow documentation, and business process optimization skills.
- Strong experience in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, finance, and operations.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; certifications like CBAP or PMI-PBA are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
- Understanding of pricing models, sales forecasting, and revenue management.
- Exposure to customer loyalty programs, CRM, and omnichannel retail strategies.
