ETL Talend developer (Mid-Level) – Remote

Job Title : ETL Talend developer (Mid-Level)

Client : Centene Corp
Rate : $45-$50 on C2C
Remote

Project Overview:
· L&R program has major backlog – 4 major projects to tackle (likely happening consecutively)
1. Rewards payout dashboard (dashboard built by Centene – power BI)
1. Devs will be working 100% with the data and in the DB
2. Strong SQL skills to ensure pulling in the correct data and queries built out to populate the data in the PowerBI dashboard
3. Currently no visibility into the data on what is being paid out – this data pull and dashboard with give visibility
4. Goal is to be able to identify the issues/what is not being paid out before it gets escalated from the members or health plan
2. Reward updates
1. This is what they do on a regular basis
2. One CE will get switched out and go to work with the Core team; and a Centene FTE will join this team to work through this
3. Updating rewards in DB with requirements needed to generate the monetary reward balance
4. Heavy SQL work – a lot is built out through to draw from since this is what the core team does consistently
5. ETL background will be needed
6. Talend is moving the data around in the background and over to the vendor
3. Automate the reward redemption process (in Talend)
1. Automating and manual ETL process they have in place
2. This project still needs to be flushed out some (Centene will flush out, Devs will be given clear work when they get to this project)
3. It is currently a manual process to trigger reward payout and they need to automate the process
4. Need to know Talend for this project – it is built in Talend, need to schedule the jobs the right way so they are picked up and automatically processing
5. There could be some API development needed here (but they do have this skill set internally – would be a nice to have for our Devs)
4. 2025 rewards
1. Similar to first project
· This team is 100% focused on the data side – heavy work with SQL and Talend work
For all roles – a healthcare/Medicare/Medicaid background would be beneficial
· Working with Claims data and understanding claims data, demographic data, HC codes, would all be helpful
Team :
· 2 Devs, 1 QA, 1 Product manager – will function as their own scrum team
· There is a Centene team working parallel to this team within rewards, will work cohesively with this team, help with demos, make sure no gaps in knowledge
