Title: Enterprise Technical Architect
Location – Remote
 
18+ years of total IT experience with expertise in IT Strategy, Cloud Migration Planning & Application Modernization.
Should possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills, along with excellent communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to innovate and collaborate effectively.
Hands-on experience in providing architecture solutions with strong background in both front-end and back-end development.
Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and strategizing the modernization of legacy/client-server applications, providing a comprehensive roadmap, potential modernization approaches, and cloud-based solutions to transition to a modern technology stack
Experience in leveraging domain-driven design, crafting RESTful APIs, and orchestrating microservices architecture for comprehensive system solutions.
Providing hands-on leadership to the technical team throughout the project lifecycle and a comprehensive understanding of the modernization process.
5+ years as a Solution Architect or similar technical role with hands-on experience
5+ years designing highly-available, cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed solutions in datacenter on-premise and cloud platforms
Technical Skills:
Experience working with a wide range of technologies including legacy technologies and modern Java tech stack and having a good understanding of their pros and cons in particular scenarios and making sound recommendations.
Expertise in securing web applications, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Experience in writing Features, technical user story, tasks, Acceptance criteria.
Expert in Object-Oriented Programming and domain driven design.
Hands-on experience in Java, Advanced JavaScript, ES6+, Web-Frameworks, Angular, React,  Node.js, Tomcat, SQL and NoSQL.
Experience in search solutions using Lucene, Elastic Search etc. ..
Integrating search with backend and frontend applications
Exposed to Sitecore and integrating Sitecore headless with application.
Strong command of Spring Framework (IOC, MVC, ORM, Restful web service, Transaction Management, Boot, Security).
Experienced with Gradle, SVN, Maven, and Git.
Knowledgeable in messaging queues (JMS, Kafka).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience in SRE.
 
Domain Skills: Banking, eCommerce and API Marketplace
 
Responsibilities:
 
Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
Contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle and ability to bring automation in all phases of development.
Guide the team to write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
Ensure the technical deliverables from the team is of high quality and adheres to standards defined by the architecture community
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
Relevant certifications in Java and Cloud technologies are preferred.
Other Requirements:
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with the skill to engage effectively with the architecture board and community.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Adept at empowering the team to engage in prompt engineering and effectively utilize Copilot or comparable generative AI tools for optimized performance.
