We need Telecom experience with some knowledge of NorthStar

 

Must Have:

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with a focus in Enterprise Architecture
  • Ability to translate short- and long-range IT strategic plans into design and implementation of current and future applications/technology
  • Experience delivering executive-ready written, visual and verbal communications and present ideas to executive leadership
  • Experience creating design documents and sequence diagrams/HLSD
  • Previous background leading conversion/integration programs

Day to day:

An employer is looking for Enterprise Architects to join their team. This role will be supporting multiple enterprise wide north star initiatives. The Architect will partner with a team of Architects to develop solutions and technology strategies, make recommendations for architectural approaches, and work closely with senior Leadership and Business Stakeholders to build out and execute these roadmaps. This person will be the glue between multiple domains to help with risk mitigation and developing the most efficient strategies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Driving high-level solution design, and ensuring quality, consistency and alignment of designs
  • Developing proofs-of-concept and prototypes to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems
  • Defining an architecture that optimizes for flexibility, re-use, scalability, performance and availability across domains
  • Driving cross-business responsibilities by providing proactive relationship building and end-user support to multiple organizations within the company when issues arise
  • Partnering side-by-side with Developers on new patterns until dev takes on ownership
  • Providing clear and actionable feedback on specific data, design paradigms, and implementation approaches that are problematic from data quality, data usability, timeliness, and performance perspectives
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify value propositions, go-to-market strategies, and product/technology road maps
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations & make tradeoffs to balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
