Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Analyst to support and enhance the security posture of the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing endpoint security systems, responding to security incidents, maintaining vulnerability tools, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory standards. This role is part of a broader effort to secure enterprise systems and data.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a member of the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), including researching incidents, identifying actions, documenting progress, and coordinating response.
  • Monitor and track endpoint threats, enforce endpoint security policies, review security violations, and document all exceptions and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the Patch Management and Configuration Team to identify and implement secure configurations using group policies or package rollouts.
  • Administer and maintain endpoint vulnerability tools, conduct regular scans, and generate risk reports.
  • Apply and maintain endpoint baseline security configurations, ensuring compliance through ongoing review.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in information security, systems administration, or a related IT field.
  • Strong working knowledge of endpoint protection, patch management, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM, Group Policy, and scripting via PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of security standards such as NIST, CIS Critical Security Controls, and Florida Cybersecurity Standards.
  • Experience with operating systems including Windows and Windows Server.
  • Exposure to SEIM tools (e.g., Splunk preferred).
  • Ability to analyze security architecture and assess risks.
  • Skilled in identifying and troubleshooting security issues with both software and hardware.

  • Malwarebytes, Windows Defender, and other antivirus/vulnerability tools.
  • SCCM, Group Policy, PowerShell, Splunk.
