Position Title: Sr. Software Engineer (Mainframe/Production Support)
Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid schedule, in office 2x week) **No relocation candidates at this time**
Contract
6-12 month contract, opportunity for extension


Skill requirements:

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>COBOL

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>CICS

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>DB2

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Log analysis to find the RCA and fix.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Handle the Mainframe job abends, on-call support skills, Production Support experience, very minimal knowledge in Java to analysis the logs.


Additional skill requirements:
1) Mainframe Production Support
2) Hands-on experience in Mainframe skills such as Cobol, JCL, CICS
3) Some basic knowledge of Java, which helps to support few Java applications.
4) Weekend or Off Business hours support if any job abends or need basis.

Job Description:
Legacy application’s production support which are deployed in Mainframe servers
Production support for Legacy application, On-Call support 24/7, Production Support if any issue happens.

Interview Process:
Ideally just 1 round of interviews but 2nd rounds as needed.
