Job Description ::
Our client is looking for a DevOps/Docker Container Developer. The ideal candidate will have experience developing, deploying, and supporting Docker Containers running Java, NodeJS, and .NET applications.
Job Notes:
Tasks
- Develop Docker files for containers that run Java, Node, and .NET applications.
- Create deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps that build and deploy containers to Linux hosts.
- Maintain a repository of templated container images in Nexus Repository Manager.
- Work closely with developers to understand requirements.
- Handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
- Prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to learn new technologies or off the shelf software quickly.
- The ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Must be able to troubleshoot issues on the underlying OS that Docker containers are deployed on, including but not limited to network, file mount and resource issues.
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication with clients is a must.
- The successful candidate will have demonstrated effective oral and written communication. They are expected to maintain a positive working relationship with agency staff and other groups.
