Would need this candidate to either come up from a start up and have a GitHub profile/project that they’re able to show and articulate! They will need to understand the full SDLC. They need to be an individual contributor but knows how to collaborate/navigate within a team environment.
Level 3 Data Science, Level 2 cloud (ELT/Azure), Level 2 DevOps (PowerBI/Front End Web App) from an experience standpoint in that order.

MUST HAVES:
5+ years of experience in Data centric roles
Experience working as a Data Scientist and Data Engineer
5+ years of experience with Python, R and SQL (R not required)
3+ years of experience with PowerBI, tableau or other visualization tools
Proven experience and knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, etc.)
Experience in a cloud native environment (Azure experience)
Plusses:
Masters or PhD Degree in a quantitative field such as Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Economics
Experience with Azure Devops
Gen AI / R
Understanding of terraform or infrastructure as code
Understanding of DevOps and GitHub
DAY 2 DAY:
A fortune 100 company is seeking a Data Scientist for a contract to hire role that will work onsite 4 days a week in the greater Cincinnati Ohio area. You will join a small and highly collaborative team that is responsible for rapid prototyping. To be successful, you will need to have a positive mindset, proactive problem solving mentality and never give up on finding a solution.
This individual will be responsible for the following:
Partner with business users and leaders in problem solving approaches and exploring business challenges that can be addressed with data science and machine learning. Learn and understand Business domain, and co-develop narratives guiding business users through ideation and estimation on solutions that drive business value.
Analyze data, build statistical & machine learning models and algorithms. Improve upon existing machine learning methodologies by identifying new data sources, developing and testing model enhancements, running computational experiments, and fine-tuning model parameters for new models.
Formalize assumptions about how models are expected to behave, creating definitions of outliers, developing methods to systematically identify these outliers, and explaining why they are reasonable or identifying fixes for them, and ensuring deliverables meet scope, quality, and timeline targets.
