Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Fort Worth, TX 76155 (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ months contract with possible extension
Experience Required: 5+ years
PR Range: $50/hr. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Must Have:
Must have experience working in DataStage, Migrating experience from DataStage, Experience working in Azure cloud environment, Knowledge and experience working with SQL server, Experience with GitHub, and knowledge on CICD Concepts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of development experience in Databricks or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Minimum 2 years of experience working in Azure cloud environment.
Minimum 1 year of experience working in Cloud Automation Framework using Terraform or Bicep.
Knowledge and experience connecting Databricks/ADF with DB2 LUW (Cloud) database.
Knowledge and experience connecting Databricks/ADF with Postgres database.
Knowledge and experience working with SQL server.
Experience with GitHub and knowledge on CICD Concepts.
Experience with work management products like Rally and/or GitHub Actions.
Duties:
Responsible for design and implementation of code migration from DataStage to Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
Install, set up and configure DataStage/Databricks.
Create high level design documents.
Support application & infrastructure teams troubleshoot the production and non-production issues.
Utilize Agile methodologies, Rally & GitHub tool to accomplish goals.
Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance.
Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines.
Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs.
May require occasional off-hours on-call support.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
Airline industry experience.
