This is Pavan from ITech US inc. Given below are the details of the position with one of our clients and was wondering if you would be interested or can recommend someone who would be interested in this job.

Position: Data Architect  

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 9+ months Contract

Client: TCS

Technical Skills:

• Experience with using Erwin as a data modelling tool
• Strong understanding/experience of Finance, Banking data/domain and business scenarios
• Good in developing and implementing data frameworks, reference models, data modeling (operational and analytical).
• Experienced in developing data strategies: Create data strategies that support business needs
• Strong PLSQL, Informatica knowledge

Implement data models:

• Implement data models, database schemas, and data integration processes
• Ensure data quality: Ensure data integrity, compliance, and performance
• Optimize data retrieval: Optimize database models to improve data retrieval efficiency
• Experience in implementing information security and data access control across all forms of data stores (RDBMS, Unstructured, File Stores etc.).
• Experience/ Knowledge of encryption and key management systems.
• Strong analysis skills, as this person will be involved in business requirements elicitation sessions to elucidate the ideal data model which underpins the business functionality

Good to Have:

• Agile way of working, working with multiple teams
• External Certification which demonstrates
• Informatica developer experience
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, workstream leads, etc.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years knowledge of Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC).
• 5+ years Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) as a source code repository as well as a build-and-release toolchain
• 5+ years Enterprise Change management processes and techniques
• Experience with nearline and offline archiving strategies
• Work experience on the projects pertaining to data retention policies
• Strong oral & verbal communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills:           

• Use all features of ErWin as a data modelling tool
• Demonstrate the strong understanding/experience of Finance, Banking domain/data and business scenarios
• Developing and implementing data framework, reference models, data modeling (operational and analytical), strategies that support business needs
• Write strong PL-SQLs by referring functionalities of Informatica jobs
• Create and use data models, Software architecture and design

Required Education: At least a bachelor’s degree( or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
