Position: Data Architect and Tech Lead with ( 4+ year exp with Kafka)
Summary: (its 2-day onside Hybrid)
Seeking a seasoned Architect and Tech Lead with extensive experience in Data Engineering and Scalable Distributed Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, Big Data Engineering, Azure, Java/J2EE Applications, and a proven track record in design, development, testing, and implementation of large-scale IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Architect and design scalable distributed systems and data engineering solutions.
– Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices.
– Design, develop, and support AWS and Azure cloud data platforms.
– Oversee the architecture of critical Tier-0 applications, ensuring high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) capabilities.
– Implement AI/ML solutions and leverage Generative AI and Neural Networks.
– Drive full stack development for Java/J2EE applications.
– Ensure compliance with governance and privacy controls (HIPAA, GDPR).
– Interact with clients, create design documents, user manuals, and conduct trainings and demos.
– Migrate on-premises applications to cloud and between different cloud environments.
Required Skills and Experience:
– 9+ years in Big Data Engineering with Hadoop technologies (Kafka, Spark, Hive, etc.).
– 7+ years in AWS & Azure cloud platforms.
– Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, Redshift, etc.) and Azure services (ADF, Synapse, etc.).
– 10+ years in Java/J2EE full stack development.
– Strong knowledge of RDBMS and Data Warehousing (Redshift, Snowflake, etc.).
– Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.
– Expertise in developing architectural diagrams, design patterns, and documentation.
– Extensive experience in client interaction and project leadership.
– Proven experience in migrating and architecting cloud solutions.
Certifications:
– AWS Certified Solution Architect – Associate
– PMP Certified
Good to have
– TOGAF 9 Certified
– Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP)
