Job title :- Sr DevOps Engineer
Location:- Boston MA – Hybrid
Duration:- 6-12 months
JOB Description:
Primary Skills: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) + Terraform + AWS and Azure + Python
Strong Infrastructure as Code experience in solutioning and coding using Terraform and Python
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 6-8+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Proven experience as a software engineer or architect
- Experienced with building CI/CD pipelines to execute across the full application deployment cycle
- Proficiency in Docker, Git/GitHub, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, AWS, Azure and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps CircleCl or similar systems
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk or similar
- Experience using scripting languages and configuration-as-code best practices for automation and to create end-to-end solutions
- Ability to write automation using one or more common scripting/programming languages such as Java, Ruby, Python, Perl, HTML, Cmake, YAML, JSON, or JavaScript
- Experience integrating security practices into all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to communicate ideas clearly
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong focus on teamwork
- We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer who is passionate about operational excellence through automation and engineering processes.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting and bug fixing on Linux and Windows operating systems to address code and deployment errors
- Ability to work with other DevOps engineers and present ideas fluently and confidently
- Need a senior resource who can hit the ground running with little training/ramp time
- This includes the ability to develop clear, concise documentation. Experience coaching or creating Dojo's is a plus
