I hope this message finds you well. We are currently seeking an IT Specialist for an exciting contract opportunity with the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), located in Colonie, NY. This is a backfill role, and the client is eager to fill the position as soon as possible.

Job Details:

• Role: IT Specialist
• Location: Colonie, NY (Onsite)
• Employment Type: C2C Contract (30 months)
• End Client: New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH)
• Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card Holder (USC/GC)
• Interview Process: In-person interview (locals only)

Project Overview: You will be working on the Bandwidth, VOIP, and WIFI Project for multiple OMH locations. This role focuses on the migration from legacy/local voice systems to the centralized VoIP platform, UniteNY. The platform is administered via the VOSS-4-UC product, and responsibilities include performing consultations, assessments, and coordinating the configuration, installation, and migration of the systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform consultations for migration to the UniteNY VoIP platform.
• Assess legacy/local voice systems and coordinate the migration using VOSS-4-UC.
• Work with clients to discuss existing configurations and manage vendor coordination.
• Handle software/hardware deployments and ensure smooth transition to the new platform.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 48 Months of experience in Unified Communications/VOIP
• 48 Months of experience in Excel
• 6 Months of experience with Voss/CUCDM
• 12 Months of experience in software/hardware deployments
• 6 Months of experience in ServiceNow
• 6 Months of experience in Legacy Telco (POTS, CTX, PRI, etc.)
