Role : Cobol Programmer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced COBOL Developer for a development-focused role on the DLV project. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in COBOL, Oracle, UNIX, and working knowledge of SOAP/REST APIs. Experience in C programming and exposure to AWS is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain COBOL-based applications in a Unix environment.

Work with relational databases like Oracle for data access and manipulation.

Integrate APIs (SOAP or REST) using XML/JSON for system interoperability.

Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle and contribute to design discussions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability and scalability.

Assist with performance tuning, debugging, and production support.
Skills:

Strong experience in COBOL development

Hands-on with UNIX/Linux shell scripting

Proficient in Oracle RDBMS and SQL

Knowledge of API integration (SOAP/REST with XML/JSON)

Basic understanding of C programming

Exposure to AWS services (nice to have)
