Business Data Analyst with Healthcare Domain || Remote || USC only

End-client: Highmark || Working with a Prime Vendor

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, testing, and SQL, complemented by expertise in Python and BigQuery. Experience with Salesforce is highly preferred. This role is 100% remote, offering flexibility while engaging in challenging projects that drive business decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

•          Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.

•          Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business strategies.

•          Create and execute test cases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

•          Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.

•          Leverage Python for advanced data analytics and automation tasks.

•          Utilize BigQuery to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently.

•          Contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights.

•          Ensure compliance with company policies, data governance, and best practices.

•          Assist in the integration and optimization of Salesforce (if applicable) to align with business processes.

Qualifications:

•          At least 5 years of experience as a Business Data Analyst or similar role.

•          Proficient in SQL, with a strong ability to write complex queries and optimize database interactions.

•          Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation and analytics.

•          Strong working knowledge of BigQuery and cloud-based analytics solutions.

•          Demonstrated experience in testing and quality assurance processes in data-related projects.

•          Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.

•          Salesforce experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

•          Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

•          Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing tasks in a fully remote environment.
