Position Overview:
As a Senior Mendix Developer contractor, your contributions will be instrumental in the design and execution of a front-end for a GenAI application, including integration with various data sources through REST APIs and STK Java APIs.
Core Contractor Duties:
– In collaboration with the project ensemble (comprising of Project Manager, Data Engineer, and Subject Matter Advisors), and the Client group (inclusive of GenAI and Mendix Solution Architects), you will construct and refine user interfaces and establish robust data connections within the Mendix framework.
– Ensure transparent communication with leadership regarding any impediments, threats or challenges encountered, while proactively proposing remedial measures or workarounds.
– Spearhead the conceptualization and crafting of Mendix applications in line with stipulated business needs.
– Supervise the application of Mendix Security protocols to guarantee data integrity and adherence to compliance standards.
– Execute expertise in Mendix REST API for integrations and deploy STK Java APIs where REST falls short.
– Streamline Mendix Microflows to boost app efficiency and feature set.
– Oversee and coordinate Mendix-related integrations, ensuring data flow is both efficient and punctual.
– Employ Mendix Extensibility options to amplify application functionalities as needed.
– Model and manage Mendix Entities for precise data representation and storage.
– Enhance user experiences and app capabilities by implementing and maintaining relevant Mendix Add-Ons.
– Engage with the project team and Client stakeholders for requirement elicitation and assessment.
– Offer technical recommendations and assistance to peers and stakeholders.
– Guarantee that the produced applications align with both user expectations and strategic goals.
– Regularly evaluate code quality to uphold coding standards, document all procedures extensively, and facilitate knowledge sharing at project completion.
– Remain abreast with Mendix developments and general tech advancements to foster continuous improvement in app development.
Professional Requirements:
– A seasoned Mendix developer with a career span of 5-7 years, holding extensive expertise in areas such as Mendix Modeler, Mendix Security, Mendix REST API, Mendix Microflow, Mendix Integrations, Mendix Extensibility, Mendix Entities, and Mendix Add-Ons.
Desirable Attributes:
– A Mendix Developer boasting 10-12 years of industry experience; a sound understanding of GenAI, RAG models, and GovCloud is highly regarded.
