Role Overview:
• The Java Software Developer / Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of applications within the organization.
• Oversees and directs the resolution of critical technical issues affecting the Pickup Fulfillment sector, ensuring regular communications are made to important parties regarding the restoration of services.
• Takes the lead on conducting in-depth analysis of severe business and operational malfunctions, aiming to prevent their recurrence and assessing potential resolutions.
• Collaborates with software engineering teams to create and maintain efficient, reliable built systems.
• Develops comprehensive technical documentation that is easily understandable.
• Engages in on-call responsibilities after regular work hours and executes scheduled tasks during predetermined maintenance periods.
Qualifications & Background:
– Demonstrable experience and adeptness in Java, Java Standard Edition, JavaServer Pages (JSP), and JavaScript programming.
– Skilled in the use of SQL and PL/SQL for database management and development.
– Practical knowledge in the development of applications utilizing Unica Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
– Previous work with Unica Marketing Operations version 8.x or later is necessary, including familiarity with RESTful Web Services, Hibernate, and Spring Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks.
